Sarangkot- Australian Camp trek is not a difficult one,it takes us into the lower foothills of Annapurna Region but it does provide some splendid views of the mountains. It also allows us to an opportunity to visit many of the local villages to experience the local life and culture of people living in the low hills. The highest point of the Sarangkot to Australian Camp trek is a little less than 2000 meters  and it is not a strenuous trek ideal for those that want a feel of the mountain culture without taxing themselves too much. The weather along the trek is quite warm during the trekking season. The trail is very well frequented by local people and traders and there are plenty of opportunities for refreshment along the trail.Machhapuchare (a holy mountain shaped like a fishtail) is vrery much in evidence along the way.Australian Camp trek is ideal for people interested in photography and perhaps bird watching and would like to go trekking at a leisurely pace.
