The Langtang Valley is a hidden alpine valley full of flora and fauna, the valley forms part of The Central Himalaya that lies around 80 kms north of Kathmandu. A journey up theLangtang trek and into the high glaciers is considered to be one of the most rewarding short treks in Nepal. The trek captures the essence of the landscapes and character of Nepal. Contouring along the northern side of the lower Langtang Valley we are rewarded with some wonderful views of the surrounding peaks as we slowly wind our way up the valley.We trek among the villages and farmlands of its people, many of whom are of Tibetan origin. The region is far less visited by tourists and on a lot of the trek you will feel like you are in the wilderness, more akin to some of the more remote regions in Nepal.

Langtang Valley is one place which is considered as a heaven by those who search places to gain the thrill of adventure. Apart from trekking in Langtang one can also indulge in other adventure activities.

Langtang is situated North of Kathmandu valley near to the Tibetan border.  Langtang  covers 1,710 sq. km. forming the upper catchments areas of two of Nepal's largest river systems - the Trishuli and Koshi.  This excellent trek follows the narrow Langtang valley heading up towards the Langtang glacier and the Tibetan border. The trekking trail passes through some of the most beautiful landscape, glacier and offers some magnificent view of the mountains. Along the way, we get to explore the rich culture of the Tamang People, who are influenced by the Tibetan culture. The houses and the architecture of this place are very unique.

The trek is ideal for the people looking to explore the unique Tamang Culture and the magnificent mountain Panorama.

Day 1

Arrival Kathmandu Himalaya Arirang Trek represent will pick up you from airport & Transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu check in hotel fresh and short briefing about Langtang trek.


Day 2

After breakfast drive to Dhunche by bus or jeep today breakfast in hotel then earlier morning journey start to Dhunche is the administrative seat of Rasuwa district in Baghmati zone. On the way we can see many rural house, big green jungle and Tirshuli river majority of people in Dhunche are Tamang when we arrive we can see Tamang village and learn Tamang culture overnight guest house.


Day 3

Trek from Dhunche to Lama Hotel today after breakfast our trekking starts around two three hours through to the forest followed climb of about an hour to reach bamboo village this forested path well stabilized trails following the upstream and can be seen bird life around the bushes on the way steeply climb through the bamboo forest to reach the lama hotel where you will rest overnight small local tea house on at mountain lodge.


Day 4

Trek from Lama Hotel to Kyanjing Gompa overnight mountain lodge. Today we will explore around natural beauty of kyanjing gompa we can see Langtang glacier and langshisa kharka and the beautiful yak pasture land and views of green nature and it feels like a heaven overnight mountain lodge.


Day 5

Today Full day rest at Kyanjing Gompa overnight same place we spend the whole day in kyanjing gompa which will also help us acclimatize to the high altitude looks around near kyanjing gumpa overnight mountain lodge.


Day 6

Trek from Kyanjing Gompa to Lama Hotel overnight mountain lodge. We begin our trek after breakfast and go back over our steps to lama hotel its takes 6-7 hours from kyanjing gompa to lama hotel most of the trekking today will be downhill as we pass through forest, Tamang villages. We also get enjoy views of Himalayas that we had missed to climb.


Day 7

Trek from Lama Hotel to Syabru Besi overnight hotel. In the morning we left from mountain lodge to the way of syabru besi it takes 4-5 hour the trek will be easier as it will be mostly involve descending over night in syabru besi mountain guest house.


Day 8

After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu by bus or jeep it takes 5 to 6 hours check in hotel fresh and evening participate for fare well dinner with culture program overnight.


Day 9

After breakfast full day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu world heritage like Pashupatinath temple, Bouddha nath stupa, Swyambhunath stupa & Patan durbarsquare overnight hotel.


Day 10

Breakfast free day for shopping relaxes in the evening Himalaya Arirang Trek represent will drop you airport for onward departure.

    Equipments:

    • Lightweight walking boots & a pair of track shoes 
    • Guaranteed Waterproof & rainproof jacket with hood or a poncho.
    • Windproof, waterproof trousers are necessary on all treks going above 10.00ft.
    • A tracksuit useful for wearing in camp and in the tent.
    • 2 pair of loose fitting long shorts/ skirts.
    • Loose cotton pants, long sleeved –shirt is particularly suitable for avoiding sun burn.
    • A pair of gloves. Leather with lining and woolen are best.
    • 1 pair of sandals to wear in the cities and in camp.
    • 2 pairs of thin and 2 pair of thick woolen socks.
    • Down jacket, Woolen shirts and thick sweaters for winter December, January & February.
    • Duffle bag or kit bag to carry to gear while trekking.
    • Daypack: toilet items, camera, film towel, soap, a boot etc. 
    • Water bottle, sunglasses
    • 2-4 large plastic bags to separate clean clothes from dirty ones. 
    • Toiletries with small towels
