Bardia National Park

The Bardia National Park is spread over 968 sq km and located in the western Terai on the eastern bank of the Karnali river. The park is the largest and most undistributed protected area in the Terai and is home to the endangered Royal Bengal tiger and Nepal's famous one-horned rhinoceros. It is thickly forested by Sal trees, glass lands, savannah and riverine forest. The park host 30 different mammals, more than 250 species of birds, and several varieties of reptlies and water animals. Some of the other animals found here are elephant, swampdeer, blackbuck, gharial crocodile and marsh mugger crocodile, birds include endangered varieties of Bengal florican lesser flarican, silver eared mesia and sarus crane.

Day 01: You Arrival at Nepalgunj Airport or Ambasa Stand our staff will receive you. You will then be transferred to our Lodge where you will be offered refreshment & be given a briefing on our lodge & its facilities. After being given your programs for the day, your room will then be allocated to you.

Arrive at Hotel and lunch after lunch Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn morn about the life and Lifestyle of the Tharus and Dinner in the evening.

Day 02: Early morning Breakfast after breakfast Elephant Safari in the Park An excellent opportunity to get a life time experience on the Elephant Back and to see the Wildlife of The Park, Visit to Crocodile Breeding Center. Jungle Walk with Pack Lunch. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small mammals, birds and waits in the Tower (Machan) to have the wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker. Excellent photographic opportunities are plentiful then back to the hotel and dinner at hotel.

Day 03: Early morning Breakfast in hotel and start to Jungle Walk for 3 Hours. Our experienced naturalist will take you for the Jungle Walk. In the prime location there is more then 25 feet high wooden observation tower (Machan) from where we can see the movements of the wild animals as well as much different kind of birds Back to hotel and lunch in hotel

Jeep Safari An excellent opportunity to see wild animals and you will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Bardia their home .Tharu Cultural Dance Presentation (which you will also participate in) by the Local Villagers Dinner.

Day 04: Early morning Breakfast in hotel then drive to rafting Point and rafting start. It is Wild Sightseeing Rafting, this program has been introduce to show you the wildlife from the different part of the park, will be stopped in more then 3/4 places and will be taken inside the jungle for the wildlife. Pack Lunch will be provided back to hotel and dinner in evening.

Day 05: Early morning bird watching an excellent opportunity to see a great many species of birds found in Bardia back to hotel after breakfast departure.
